For properties that require a comprehensive approach — from master planning and 3D visualisation through to contractor coordination, irrigation, and project handover.

A full landscape transformation is the most comprehensive service we offer. It is appropriate for new-build properties with no existing garden, sites that need complete redesign, or large properties where a coordinated approach across all elements — hard landscaping, planting, water, lighting, and structures — is required.
We manage the entire process from initial survey and master planning through to contractor coordination, site supervision, planting, irrigation, and final handover. Acting as the single point of contact for all landscape-related works, we take responsibility for the quality and coherence of the finished result — so the client does not have to manage multiple contractors independently.
A comprehensive landscape transformation project typically encompasses all of the following.
A comprehensive scaled design document covering all elements of the landscape — levels, zones, planting, structures, and circulation.
Rendered views of the proposed landscape design, allowing you to understand the spatial experience and character before work begins.
Specification of works for tender, selection of contractors, and ongoing coordination across all trades throughout the project.
Regular site visits throughout the construction phase to inspect workmanship, check progress against drawings, and address any issues.
Design and specification of a drip or spray irrigation system, zoned by plant type and watering requirement, with an automated timer.
A complete set of as-built drawings, plant schedules, irrigation operating instructions, and maintenance guides at project completion.
A structured process that maintains quality and coherence throughout a complex, multi-phase project.
We conduct a thorough site survey and spend time understanding your priorities — how the space will be used, what you value most, and any constraints we need to work within.
A comprehensive design document is produced, covering all elements of the landscape. This is reviewed and refined with you before moving to detailed design.
Each element is developed in detail — materials specified, planting designed, irrigation planned, and technical drawings prepared for contractor use.
Works are put to tender, contractor proposals are reviewed, and appointments made. We manage this process and make recommendations based on quality and value.
We attend site regularly throughout construction — inspecting works, answering contractor queries, and ensuring the project is built to the design intent.
Planting is installed at the right season, irrigation commissioned, and lighting tested. A full handover pack is provided at practical completion.
Timeline varies significantly depending on the scale of the project. A mid-size residential property might be completed within 4 to 6 months from design to handover. Larger or more complex projects can take 9 to 12 months. We agree a programme at the outset and update it regularly throughout the project.
Yes. As the lead designer and project manager, we are the single point of contact for all landscape-related works. We coordinate contractors, manage the programme, and are responsible for the overall quality of the finished result. The client does not need to manage individual contractors directly — that responsibility is ours.
Design fees are agreed at the outset based on the scope of the project. Construction costs are established through the contractor tender process, with a detailed cost plan prepared before any works are approved. We aim to be fully transparent on cost at each stage so there are no surprises at project completion.
It is always easier and more cost-effective to install irrigation during construction — conduit and pipework can be laid before paving and planting go in. Retrofitting is possible but typically more disruptive and expensive. We always recommend considering irrigation at the design stage, even if the final decision is made later.
We provide a comprehensive handover pack including all drawings, plant lists, irrigation instructions, and a maintenance guide. We also offer ongoing maintenance and aftercare services if required — either as a standalone engagement or as part of the full transformation package.
Get in touch to discuss your project. We will arrange a site visit and produce a detailed proposal covering scope, timeline, and fees.
